\Upsilon(5S) decays into BB and BB\pi
Yu.A.Simonov, A.I.Veselov

TL;DR
This paper models the decay processes of the Upsilon(5S) particle into various B meson pairs and pions, using a theory with two parameters that successfully matches experimental decay widths.
Contribution
It applies a previously developed dipion transition theory to predict decay widths of Upsilon(5S) into B meson pairs and pions with minimal parameters.
Findings
Predicted total decay width of Upsilon(5S) matches experimental data.
Calculated partial widths for specific decay channels are consistent with observations.
Decay widths for pion-involved channels are around 10 keV.
Abstract
Two- and three-body decays of into and are evaluated using the theory, developed earlier for dipion bottomonium transitions. The theory contains only two parameters, vertex masses and , known from dipion spectra and width. Predicted values of and six partial widths are in agreement with experiment. The decay widths and are also calculated and found to be of the order of 10 keV.
