TL;DR
This paper examines ambiguities in the effective action of Lorentz-violating gravity, focusing on the gravitational Chern-Simons term and its dependence on an arbitrary parameter due to current choice.
Contribution
It identifies the source of ambiguity in the gravitational Chern-Simons term related to the choice of conserved current in Lorentz-violating gravity.
Findings
The coefficient of the Chern-Simons term depends on an undetermined parameter.
Ambiguity arises from the arbitrariness in selecting the conserved current.
The study clarifies the origin of ambiguity in Lorentz-violating gravitational effective actions.
Abstract
We investigate the occurrence of ambiguities for Lorentz-violating gravitational Chern-Simons term. It turns out that this term is accompanied by a coefficient depending on an undetermined parameter, due to an arbitrariness in the choice of the conserved current.
