Supersymmetry and Superstring Phenomenology
Mary K. Gaillard, Bruno Zumino

TL;DR
This paper reviews the development of supersymmetry and superstring theories, emphasizing their potential to explain phenomena beyond the Standard Model in high-energy physics.
Contribution
It provides a concise overview of supersymmetry's history and its connection to superstring theories as promising frameworks for particle phenomenology.
Findings
Supersymmetry offers solutions to hierarchy problems.
Superstring theories unify gravity with quantum mechanics.
These theories are promising for beyond Standard Model physics.
Abstract
We briefly cover the early history of supersymmetry, describe the relation of SUSY quantum field theories to superstring theories and explain why they are considered a likely tool to describe the phenomenology of high energy particle theory beyond the Standard Model.
