Higgs Production via b bbar -> H in Hadron Colliders
Nikolaos Kidonakis

TL;DR
This paper calculates high-order quantum corrections for Higgs production through bottom quark annihilation, revealing dominant collinear effects that significantly increase predicted cross sections at major colliders.
Contribution
It provides the first NNNLO collinear and soft gluon corrections for b bbar -> H, highlighting the importance of collinear effects in Higgs production predictions.
Findings
Collinear corrections dominate the cross section enhancement.
Large increases in cross section at Tevatron and LHC.
Higher-order corrections are crucial for accurate predictions.
Abstract
I present NNNLO collinear and soft gluon corrections for Higgs production via the process b bbar -> H. I show that the collinear corrections dominate and contribute large enhancements to the cross section at both the Tevatron and the LHC.
