Alessandro Rossi, Giuseppe Vallone, Francesco De Martini, Paolo, Mataloni

TL;DR
This paper introduces a novel interferometric method for generating time-energy entangled photon pairs that eliminates the need for temporal post-selection, enabling use with lasers of short coherence time.
Contribution
The paper presents a new interferometric scheme for entangling photons in time-energy without post-selection, improving practicality and compatibility with various laser sources.
Findings
Successful implementation of the new scheme
Entangled photon pairs generated without temporal post-selection
Compatible with lasers of short coherence time
Abstract
We report on the implementation of a new interferometric scheme that allows the generation of photon pairs entangled in the time-energy degree of freedom. This scheme does not require any kind of temporal post-selection on the generated pairs and can be used even with lasers with short coherence time.
