On the Probability Distribution of Superimposed Random Codes
Bernd G\"unther

TL;DR
This paper systematically analyzes the probability distribution of superimposed random codes using generating functions, focusing on uniform and independent bit structures, and offers strategies for optimal coding.
Contribution
It introduces a comprehensive probabilistic framework for superimposed random codes and derives optimal coding strategies for various bit distribution scenarios.
Findings
Provides a generating function approach to analyze code distributions.
Identifies optimal coding strategies for different bit distribution cases.
Enhances understanding of superimposed code probabilistics.
Abstract
A systematic study of the probability distribution of superimposed random codes is presented through the use of generating functions. Special attention is paid to the cases of either uniformly distributed but not necessarily independent or non uniform but independent bit structures. Recommendations for optimal coding strategies are derived.
