Inhomogeneous magnetic field in AdS/CFT superconductor
Wen-Yu Wen

TL;DR
This paper investigates how inhomogeneous magnetic fields affect (2+1)-dimensional holographic superconductors, revealing type I and II behaviors and a novel type change near the critical temperature.
Contribution
It introduces the study of inhomogeneous magnetic fields in holographic superconductors and uncovers a new type-changing phenomenon near the critical temperature.
Findings
Existence of type I and II superconductors under inhomogeneous magnetic fields
Observation of a new type-changing feature near critical temperature for type I superconductors
Demonstration of inhomogeneous magnetic field effects in holographic superconductor models
Abstract
We study the holographically dual description of superconductor in (2+1)-dimensions in the presence of inhomogeneous magnetic field and observe that there exists type I and type II superconductor. A new feature of type changing is observed for type I superconductor near critical temperature.
