Oleg Andreev

TL;DR
This paper investigates three-quark potentials and pseudo-potentials within an AdS/QCD framework, confirming the Y-ansatz and universality of string tensions, and explores extensions to SU(N) gauge theories.
Contribution
It provides new insights into baryonic potentials and string tension universality using a five-dimensional AdS/QCD approach, extending to SU(N) theories.
Findings
Supports the Y-ansatz for baryonic area law
Confirms universality of string tension and spatial string tension
Discusses extensions to SU(N) gauge theories
Abstract
The static three-quark potential and pseudo-potential of a pure SU(3) gauge theory are studied in a five-dimensional framework known as AdS/QCD. The results support the Y-ansatz for the baryonic area law. A comparison with the quark-antiquark calculations shows the universality of the string tension as well as the spatial string tension. We also discuss extensions to SU(N) gauge theories.
