Top Quark Pair Production and Properties Measurements at the Tevatron
Marc-Andr\'e Pleier (for the CDF Collaboration, D0 Collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper reviews measurements of top quark pair production and properties at the Tevatron collider, highlighting their role in testing the Standard Model with high-precision data from the CDF and D0 experiments.
Contribution
It provides the latest results on top quark pair production cross sections and properties, utilizing datasets up to two inverse femtobarns for improved accuracy.
Findings
Measured top quark pair production cross section with high precision
Confirmed consistency of top quark properties with Standard Model predictions
Enhanced understanding of top quark behavior at Tevatron energies
Abstract
The Tevatron proton-antiproton collider at Fermilab with its centre of mass energy of 1.96 TeV is currently the only source for the production of top quarks. This report reflects the current status of measurements of the top quark pair production cross section and properties performed by the CDF and D0 Collaborations. Utilising datasets of up to two inverse fb, these measurements allow unprecedented precision in probing the validity of the Standard Model.
