How Universal is the Coupling in the Sigma Model?
Denis Parganlija, Francesco Giacosa, Dirk H. Rischke

TL;DR
This paper investigates the universality of coupling in the sigma model by calculating scattering lengths and decay widths within a gauged linear sigma model framework.
Contribution
It introduces a gauged linear sigma model with two flavors and its generalization to analyze coupling universality.
Findings
Calculated pion-pion scattering lengths.
Determined decay widths of sigma, rho, and a1 mesons.
Provided insights into the coupling structure of the sigma model.
Abstract
We calculate pion-pion scattering lengths and sigma, rho and a1 decay widths from a gauged linear sigma model with two flavours and its globally invariant generalisation.
