TL;DR
This paper analyzes proton-proton collision data to investigate K+K0bar pair production, revealing evidence for scalar resonance formation and strong final state interactions, enhancing understanding of meson production mechanisms.
Contribution
It provides the first combined analysis of data at different energies, demonstrating the presence of a0+(980) resonance and K0bar:d interactions in pp collisions.
Findings
Evidence for a0+(980) scalar resonance production.
Detection of strong K0bar:d final state interaction.
Analysis at multiple excess energies enhances understanding.
Abstract
A combined analysis of the published data on the pp -> dK+K0bar reaction at excess energies of 47.4 MeV and 104.7 MeV is presented. Evidence is found for both the production of the a0+(980)scalar resonance and for a strong K0bar:d final state interaction.
