Two-photon contributions to the Rosenbluth cross-section in the Skyrme model
M. Kuhn, H. Weigel

TL;DR
This paper investigates the impact of two-photon processes on elastic electron-nucleon scattering using the Skyrme model, emphasizing the role of the anomaly and axial current interactions introduced by the Wess-Zumino term.
Contribution
It introduces a novel analysis of two-photon contributions within the Skyrme model, highlighting the significance of the anomaly and axial current interactions.
Findings
Two-photon contributions significantly affect the Rosenbluth cross-section.
The anomaly via the Wess-Zumino term induces axial current interactions.
Results provide insights into nucleon structure and scattering processes.
Abstract
We study two-photon contributions to the elastic electron nucleon scattering within the Skyrme model. In particular we focus on the role of the anomaly that enters via the Wess-Zumino term and explain how this induces an axial current interaction.
