Hisaki Hatanaka, Kwei-Chou Yang

TL;DR
This paper calculates form factors for B to K1 gamma decays using light-cone sum rules, resolves mixing angle ambiguities, and compares predictions with experimental data, providing insights into decay mechanisms and mixing parameters.
Contribution
It introduces a detailed light-cone sum rule calculation for B to K1 form factors, resolving the K1 mixing angle ambiguity and comparing results with experimental data.
Findings
Favored mixing angle: $ heta_{K_1}=-(34 ext{±}13)^\u00b0$
Predicted branching ratios agree with Belle measurements
Hard-spectator effects slightly suppress decay rates
Abstract
We present a detailed study of and decays. Using the light-cone sum rule technique, we calculate the and tensor form factors, and , where the contributions are included up to the first order in . We resolve the sign ambiguity of the -- mixing angle by defining the signs of decay constants, and . From the comparison of the theoretical calculation and the data for decays and , we find that is favored. In contrast to , the hard-spectator contribution suppresses the and branching ratios slightly. The predicted branching ratios are in…
