Toward a more realistic holographic QCD model
Mei Huang, Qi-shu Yan, Yi Yang

TL;DR
This paper develops a more realistic holographic QCD model by matching string theory configurations with meson spectra, demonstrating consistency with experimental data for specific brane backgrounds.
Contribution
It introduces a 5D soft-wall model based on Dp-Dq systems that aligns string theory with meson Regge trajectories, enhancing the realism of holographic QCD models.
Findings
The 5D metric parameters depend on Regge trajectory parameters.
Models with p=3 or 4 are consistent with experimental meson data.
A method to match string theory systems with meson spectra has been established.
Abstract
By matching the system in type II superstring theory with the Regge trajectories of vector and axial-vector meson spectra, a possible 5-dimension metric of a soft-wall model has been determined. The dependence of the metric parameters on Regge trajectory parameters has been demonstrated. It is shown that the models defined in brane background for or 4 can be consistent with experimental data.
