CMB polarization induced by stochastic magnetic fields
Massimo Giovannini, Kerstin E. Kunze

TL;DR
This paper calculates the polarization of the CMB caused by stochastic magnetic fields within the standard cosmological model, providing insights relevant for current and future polarization measurements.
Contribution
It presents a comprehensive calculation of CMB polarization observables considering stochastic magnetic fields, extending the conventional $b5$CDM model.
Findings
Provides detailed predictions for E- and B-mode polarization signals.
Highlights potential observational signatures of stochastic magnetic fields.
Discusses implications for upcoming CMB polarization experiments.
Abstract
The complete calculation of the CMB polarization observables (i.e. E- and B-modes) is reported within the conventional CDM paradigm supplemented by a stochastic magnetic field. Intriguing perspectives for present and forthcoming CMB polarization experiments are outlined.
