Extended Zee model for Neutrino Mass, Leptogenesis and Sterile Neutrino like Dark Matter
Narendra Sahu, Utpal Sarkar

TL;DR
This paper introduces an extended model with a $U(1)_{B-L}$ symmetry that explains neutrino masses, dark matter, and matter-antimatter asymmetry through leptogenesis, with a sterile neutrino as dark matter.
Contribution
It presents a novel extension of the standard model that unifies neutrino mass generation, dark matter, and leptogenesis within a $U(1)_{B-L}$ framework.
Findings
Leptogenesis successfully explains matter-antimatter asymmetry.
The model predicts a MeV-scale sterile neutrino as dark matter.
Neutrino masses are generated via soft breaking of $U(1)_{B-L}$.
Abstract
We propose an extension of the standard model with a global symmetry that accommodates radiative neutrino masses along with dark matter and leptogenesis. The observed matter antimatter asymmetry of the universe is generated through the leptogenesis route keeping the symmetry intact. The global symmetry is then softly broken, providing the sub-eV neutrino masses. The model then incorporates a MeV scale sterile neutrino like dark matter.
