Top quark pair production cross section at the Tevatron
Giorgio Cortiana

TL;DR
This paper reports measurements of the top quark pair production cross section at the Tevatron, comparing results from CDF and DØ with standard model predictions to test the theory and explore potential new physics.
Contribution
It provides the first comprehensive comparison of top pair production cross sections from multiple channels and methods at the Tevatron, confirming consistency with the standard model.
Findings
Measured cross sections agree with standard model predictions
Results from CDF and DØ are consistent across different channels
Data collected with 1.0 to 2.0 fb$^{-1}$ luminosity
Abstract
Top quark pair production cross section has been measured at the Tevatron by CDF and collaborations using different channels and methods, in order to test standard model predictions, and to search for new physics hints affecting the production mechanism or decay. Measurements are carried out with an integrated luminosity of 1.0 to 2.0 fb, and are found to be consistent with standard model expectations.
