Francesco Giacosa, Giuseppe Pagliara

TL;DR
This paper develops a formalism for derivative interactions in radiative phi decays involving virtual scalar mesons, successfully reproducing observed line shapes without kaon loops.
Contribution
It introduces a one-loop level formalism for derivative couplings in phi decays, providing an alternative explanation for line shapes.
Findings
Reproduces measured line shapes of phi decays
Shows derivative interactions can replace kaon loop effects
Provides a new theoretical framework for decay analysis
Abstract
We study the line shapes of radiative -decays involving virtual and mesons which decay, via derivative couplings, to and respectively. After developing the formalism for derivative interactions at one-loop level, we show that they can reproduce the measured peaked line shapes of -decays without including kaon loops.
