Geometrically Engineerable Chiral Matter in M-Theory
Jacob L. Bourjaily, Sam Espahbodi

TL;DR
This paper classifies the types of massless chiral matter that can be generated in M-theory via specific geometric singularities, highlighting potential for advanced model building.
Contribution
It provides a systematic classification of chiral matter representations arising from G(2) singularities in M-theory, exploring their implications for theoretical physics models.
Findings
Identification of various singularities capable of producing chiral matter
Potential applications of exceptional singularities in model building
Framework for engineering chiral matter in M-theory
Abstract
We present a classification of the massless chiral matter representations that can arise locally in M-theory on G(2) through geometrically engineered singularities. We will find that several of the more exceptional singularities could have applications for model building.
