Searching for Hyper-Velocity Stars
A. Tillich, U. Heber, H. Hirsch

TL;DR
This paper reports on a survey conducted using ESO NTT and Calar Alto telescopes to identify subluminous hyper-velocity star candidates, aiming to understand their origins and properties.
Contribution
It introduces a new observational survey targeting subluminous hyper-velocity stars using specific telescopes, expanding the search for these rare objects.
Findings
Initial candidates identified from the survey.
Potential links to galactic center ejections.
Methodology for future candidate confirmation.
Abstract
We present our survey for subluminous hyper-velocity candidates, which has been successfully initiated at the ESO NTT and the Calar Alto 3.5 m telescope.
