Aspects of Multiple Membranes
David S. Berman, Laura C. Tadrowski, Daniel C. Thompson

TL;DR
This paper explores the properties of coincident membranes, their boundary theories, and related deformations, providing insights into their holographic duals and interactions with fivebranes.
Contribution
It analyzes open membranes, boundary theories, and supersymmetric deformations within the framework of the Bagger-Lambert model, advancing understanding of membrane interactions.
Findings
Characterization of open membrane boundary conditions
Identification of supersymmetric deformations
Insights into holographic dual descriptions
Abstract
This paper examines various aspects of the recently proposed theory of coincident membranes by Bagger and Lambert. These include the properties of open membranes and the resulting boundary theory with an interpretation in terms of the fivebrane and marginal supersymmetric deformations of the interactions with the relation to the holographic dual.
