TL;DR
This paper establishes positive mass theorems for ALF manifolds, which are noncompact spaces resembling circle fibrations over Euclidean bases, extending the understanding of mass in geometric analysis.
Contribution
It introduces positive mass theorems specifically for ALF manifolds, a class of spaces with asymptotic circle fibrations, advancing geometric analysis in noncompact settings.
Findings
Positive mass theorems proven for ALF manifolds
Extension of mass concepts to noncompact manifolds with circle fibrations
Clarification of geometric properties of ALF manifolds
Abstract
We prove positive mass theorems on ALF manifolds, i.e. complete noncompact manifolds that are asymptotic to a circle fibration over a Euclidean base, with fibers of asymptotically constant length.
