Squark Cascade Decays to Charginos/Neutralinos: Gluon Radiation
Roman Horsky, Michael Kr\"amer, Alexander M\"uck, Peter M. Zerwas

TL;DR
This paper investigates how gluon radiation influences the momentum, polarization, and invariant mass distributions of charginos and neutralinos produced in squark decays, highlighting notable effects near distribution edges.
Contribution
It provides a detailed calculation of gluon radiation corrections in squark decay processes and analyzes their impact on observable distributions.
Findings
Gluon radiation causes measurable modifications in decay spectra.
Corrections are generally small but significant near distribution edges.
Impacts on invariant mass distributions are quantified.
Abstract
The momentum spectrum and the polarization of charginos and neutralinos in squark decays are affected by gluon radiation in the decay process \tilde{q} \to q \tilde{\chi} (g). We determine these corrections and study their impact on the [ql] invariant mass distributions for leptonic \tilde{\chi} decays. The higher-order corrections, though small in general, can be sizeable near pronounced edges of the final-state distributions.
