Partial Dynamical Symmetries in the g9/2 Shell-Progress and Puzzles
Larry Zamick, Pieter Van Isacker

TL;DR
This paper analytically investigates four-particle states in the g9/2 shell with seniority v=4 and specific angular momenta, revealing their pairing properties and contributing to understanding nuclear shell symmetries.
Contribution
It provides the first analytic proofs of pairing properties and seniority-related features of four-particle states in the g9/2 shell, addressing existing puzzles.
Findings
Number of pairs with angular momentum I is exactly one for these states
States with seniority v=4 and I=4 or 6 have specific pairing properties
Analytic proofs clarify previously observed numerical patterns
Abstract
We present analytic proofs of the properties of four particle states in the g9/2 shell which have seniority v=4 and angular momentum I=4 or 6.We show in particular that the number of pairs with angular momentum I is equal to one for these states.
