Two ultracold atoms in a completely anisotropic trap
Jun-Jun Liang, Chao Zhang

TL;DR
This paper derives exact solutions for two interacting ultracold atoms in a fully anisotropic harmonic trap, analyzing how trap geometry influences their energy spectra.
Contribution
It provides the first exact solutions for two interacting atoms in a general anisotropic trap, expanding understanding of ultracold atom behavior in complex potentials.
Findings
Energy spectra vary significantly with trap anisotropy
Exact solutions enable precise modeling of atom interactions
Comparison across different trap geometries
Abstract
As a limiting case of ultracold atoms trapped in deep optical lattices, we consider two interacting atoms trapped in a general anisotropic harmonic oscillator potential, and obtain exact solutions of the Schrodinger equation for this system. The energy spectra for different geometries of the trapping potential are compared.
