Heat conduction in simple networks: The effect of inter-chain coupling
Zonghua Liu, Baowen Li

TL;DR
This paper investigates how inter-chain coupling affects heat conduction in simple networks of nonlinear chains, revealing differences from electric current behavior and potential applications in heat flow control.
Contribution
It demonstrates that inter-chain coupling influences heat conduction differently than electric current, offering new insights into thermal management in complex networks.
Findings
Coupling impacts heat conduction distinctly from electric current.
Potential for controlling heat flow in networked systems.
Differences in coupling effects between thermal and electrical transport.
Abstract
The heat conduction in simple networks consisting of different one dimensional nonlinear chains is studied. We find that the coupling between chains has different function in heat conduction compared with that in electric current. This might find application in controlling heat flow in complex networks.
