TL;DR
This paper explores how chiral symmetry may be effectively restored in excited baryons using a microscopic quark model, providing theoretical insights into baryon structure.
Contribution
It introduces a generalized Nambu-Jona-Lasinio quark model approach and argues for chiral symmetry restoration in excited baryons.
Findings
Chiral symmetry is effectively restored in excited baryons.
The model supports the idea of chiral symmetry restoration at higher energies.
The approach offers a theoretical framework for understanding baryon excitations.
Abstract
An approach to baryons in the framework of the microscopic Generalized Nambu-Jona-Lasinio chiral potential quark model is considered and quite general arguments are given in favor of effective restoration of chiral symmetry in excited baryons.
