Optimal control of impulsive Volterra equations with variable impulse times
S. A. Belbas, W. H. Schmidt

TL;DR
This paper develops necessary optimality conditions for impulsive Volterra integral equations with switching and variable impulse times, extending previous work on fixed impulse times.
Contribution
It introduces new optimality conditions for impulsive Volterra equations with variable impulse times, advancing the control theory in this area.
Findings
Derived necessary conditions for optimal impulsive control.
Extended previous fixed-time impulse results to variable times.
Provides theoretical foundation for impulsive control with switching.
Abstract
We obtain necessary conditions of optimality for impulsive Volterra integral equations with switching and impulsive controls, with variable impulse time-instants. The present work continues and complements our previous work on impulsive Volterra control with fixed impulse times.
