Horizons of radiating black holes in Einstein gauss-bonnet gravity
S. G.Ghosh, D. W. Deshkar

TL;DR
This paper investigates the structure and horizon locations of radiating black holes within a five-dimensional Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet gravity framework, using a Vaidya-based model to analyze their properties.
Contribution
It introduces a Vaidya-based model for radiating black holes in 5D Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet gravity and determines their horizon structures.
Findings
Apparent and event horizons are explicitly characterized.
The influence of Gauss-Bonnet terms on horizon structure is analyzed.
The model advances understanding of higher-dimensional radiating black holes.
Abstract
A Vaidya-based model of a radiating black-hole is studied in a 5-dimensional Einstein gravity with Gauss-Bonnet contribution of quadratic curvature terms. The structure and locations of the apparent and event horizons of the radiating black hole are determined.
