TL;DR
This paper investigates rare meson decays within a supersymmetric model with bilinear R-parity violation, providing estimates of branching ratios and comparing them with other lepton number violation mechanisms.
Contribution
It introduces a detailed analysis of rare meson decays in a supersymmetric framework with bilinear R-parity violation, including numerical estimates and comparison with other models.
Findings
Branching ratios for rare meson decays are estimated.
Comparison shows differences between bilinear R-parity violation and other mechanisms.
Results suggest potential experimental signatures for R-parity violation.
Abstract
We discuss rare meson decays and () in a supersymmetric extension of the standard model with explicit breaking of R-parity by bilinear Yukawa couplings in the superpotential. Estimates of the branching ratios for these decays are given. We also compare our numerical results with analogous ones previously obtained for two other mechanisms of lepton number violation: exchange by massive Majorana neutrinos and trilinear R-parity violation.
