Contribution
It introduces a novel algebraic approach to prove the Kochen-Specker theorem and incorporates new criteria to address measurement contextuality.
Findings
Proof of Kochen-Specker theorem via algebraic formulation
New criteria for measurement contextuality
Highlights the algebraic structure underlying quantum contextuality
Abstract
Using a quantum like algebraic formulation we give proof of Kochen-Specker theorem. We introduce new criteria in order to account for the contextual nature of measurements in quantum mechanics.
