Shell Crossing Singularities in Quasi-Spherical Szekeres Models
Subenoy Chakraborty, Ujjal Debnath

TL;DR
This paper examines the conditions under which shell crossing singularities occur in quasi-spherical Szekeres dust models, considering the effects of a cosmological constant and analyzing physical and geometric criteria.
Contribution
It provides a detailed analysis of shell crossing singularities in Szekeres models, including conditions with and without a cosmological constant, and compares physical and geometric perspectives.
Findings
Shell crossing singularities depend on specific model parameters.
Conditions for singularities are consistent from physical and geometric viewpoints.
Results enhance understanding of singularity formation in inhomogeneous cosmological models.
Abstract
We investigate the occurrence of shell crossing singularities in quasi-spherical Szekeres dust models with or without a cosmological constant. We study the conditions for shell crossing singularity both from physical and geometrical point of view and they are in agreement.
