Dynamical Coupled-Channels Model Analysis of \pi-N Scattering and Electromagnetic Pion Production Reactions
B. Julia-Diaz

TL;DR
This paper presents a coupled-channels model that accurately describes pion-nucleon scattering and provides preliminary insights into electromagnetic pion production, advancing understanding of nucleon interactions.
Contribution
It introduces a coupled-channels model that simultaneously fits pion-nucleon scattering data and pion photoproduction reactions, improving the theoretical description of these processes.
Findings
Accurate fit to $\pi N$ scattering data.
Preliminary successful description of $\pi$ photoproduction.
Demonstrates the model's capability to unify different reaction channels.
Abstract
The ability of the coupled-channels model (MSL) developed in recently in Ref. \cite{msl} to account simultaneously for the scattering data and the photoproduction reactions on the nucleon is presented. An accurate description of scattering has been obtained. A preliminary description of photoproduction is also discussed.
