Quantum Statistical Transition
Tao Wang

TL;DR
This paper explores a quantum statistical transition between fermions and bosons through the BCS-BEC crossover, proposing a continuum of quantum statistics enabled by pairing interactions, despite wave function construction challenges.
Contribution
It introduces the concept of a continuous quantum statistical family bridging fermions and bosons via pairing interactions in the BCS-BEC crossover.
Findings
Identification of a continuous family of quantum statistics
Pairing interactions enable interpolation between fermions and bosons
Challenges in constructing wave functions for these interpolated states
Abstract
By analyzing the BCS-BEC crossover, I found that because of the pairing interactions,a continuous family of quantum statistics interpolating between fermions and bosons is possible, although it seems incapable to construct reasonable wave function.
