S.Yu. Igashov, V.A. Rodin, M.H. Urin, A. Faessler

TL;DR
This paper develops a continuum-QRPA model to accurately describe Gamow-Teller strength distributions in nuclei undergoing double-beta decay, comparing results with experimental data for specific isotopic pairs.
Contribution
The paper introduces a continuum-QRPA approach tailored for open-shell nuclei to improve the understanding of Gamow-Teller strength distributions in double-beta decay.
Findings
Good agreement with experimental data for $^{116}$Cd-Sn and $^{130}$Te-Xe
Enhanced modeling of Gamow-Teller strength distributions in open-shell nuclei
Provides a reliable theoretical framework for double-beta decay studies
Abstract
A version of the pn-continuum-QRPA is outlined and applied to describe the Gamow-Teller strength distributions for -decaying open-shell nuclei. The calculation results obtained for the pairs of nuclei Cd-Sn and Te-Xe are compared with available experimental data.
