Physics at ELSA
H. Schmieden, the Crystal-Barrel/TAPS collaboration

TL;DR
This paper reports recent experimental results from the Crystal-Barrel/TAPS collaboration at ELSA, involving photon-induced meson production on nucleon targets, with detailed measurements of cross sections, asymmetries, and recoil polarisations.
Contribution
It presents new experimental data on neutral meson production channels using a comprehensive detector setup at ELSA, including polarization observables.
Findings
Measurement of cross sections for various neutral meson channels
Determination of photon beam asymmetries
Recoil polarizations in the $K^0_s\Sigma^+$ channel
Abstract
Recent experimental results of the Crystal-Barrel/TAPS collaboration at ELSA are presented. The experiments used a tagged photon beam incident on proton and neutron targets. Multiple photon final states were detected in the hermetically closed Crystal-Barrel/TAPS detector setup, enabling the reconstruction of various neutral meson production channels. In addition to cross sections also photon beam asymmetries and, in the channel, recoil polarisations were determined.
