Example of a possible interpretation of Tsallis entropy
Grzegorz Wilk, Zbigniew Wlodarczyk

TL;DR
This paper explores how different methods of acquiring information about an object can lead to the Tsallis entropy form instead of the traditional Shannon entropy, highlighting alternative entropy measures.
Contribution
It provides an example illustrating how specific information-gathering processes result in Tsallis entropy, offering insights into non-standard entropy forms.
Findings
Certain information acquisition methods yield Tsallis entropy
Tsallis entropy can emerge from specific informational processes
Comparison between Tsallis and Shannon entropy forms
Abstract
We demonstrate and discuss the process of gaining information and show an example in which some specific way of gaining information about an object results in the Tsallis form of entropy rather than in the Shannon one.
