TL;DR
This paper introduces a new torsion invariant for bundles of smooth manifolds, leveraging the framework of smooth structures on fibrations to enhance understanding of manifold bundles.
Contribution
It presents a novel construction of a torsion invariant for smooth manifold bundles based on the work of Dwyer, Weiss, and Williams.
Findings
Constructs a new torsion invariant for smooth manifold bundles
Utilizes the framework of smooth structures on fibrations
Provides a foundation for further studies in smooth manifold invariants
Abstract
We give a construction of a torsion invariant of bundles of smooth manifolds which is based on the work of Dwyer, Weiss and Williams on smooth structures on fibrations.
