TL;DR
EDDE Monte Carlo version 2.1 is a specialized event generator designed for simulating exclusive and semi-inclusive double diffractive processes using an extended Regge-eikonal approach for soft interactions and Standard Model physics for hard processes.
Contribution
This paper introduces EDDE version 2.1, a Monte Carlo generator that combines soft and hard process modeling within a unified framework for diffractive events.
Findings
Effective simulation of double diffractive processes
Integration of soft and hard interaction models
Applicability to Standard Model and extensions
Abstract
EDDE is a Monte Carlo event generator for different Exclusive and Semi-Inclusive Double Diffractive processes. The program is based on the extended Regge-eikonal approach for "soft" processes. Standard Model and its extensions are used for "hard" fusion processes.
