Reusable Vernam Cipher with Quantum Media
Kai Wen, Fu-Guo Deng, Gui Lu Long

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that the Vernam cipher's one-time-pad key can be reused securely with quantum media, providing protocols and security analysis for unconditional security.
Contribution
It introduces a method to reuse Vernam cipher keys securely using quantum media, supported by explicit protocols and security proofs.
Findings
Reusing Vernam cipher keys is possible with unconditional security using quantum media
Two explicit protocols are provided for secure key reuse
The error rate threshold for security is analyzed
Abstract
A revised version will be uploaded later. In this Letter, it is shown that the one-time-pad key in the Vernam cipher can be repeatedly used with unconditional security using quantum media. The security proof is given with two explicit protocols, and the error rate threshold is analyzed.
