Neutrino mixing, flavor states and dark energy
M.Blasone, A.Capolupo, S.Capozziello, G.Vitiello

TL;DR
This paper discusses how neutrino mixing's quantum field theory formalism suggests that the vacuum condensate from neutrinos could account for dark energy in the universe.
Contribution
It introduces a formalism linking neutrino mixing vacuum condensates to dark energy, providing a novel perspective on cosmic acceleration.
Findings
Neutrino mixing vacuum condensate can be interpreted as dark energy.
The formalism connects quantum field theory of neutrinos to cosmological observations.
Results support neutrino mixing as a potential source of dark energy.
Abstract
We shortly summarize the quantum field theory formalism for the neutrino mixing and report on recent results showing that the vacuum condensate induced by neutrino mixing can be interpreted as a dark energy component of the Universe.
