TL;DR
This paper investigates how R-parity violating supersymmetry could significantly alter rare B meson decay rates and asymmetries, providing new bounds on model parameters and potential signals for future experiments.
Contribution
It derives new upper bounds on R-parity violating couplings from recent experimental limits and explores their effects on decay observables and spectra.
Findings
R-parity violating couplings are more tightly constrained.
Branching ratios can be enhanced by several orders.
Detailed analysis of invariant mass spectra and asymmetries.
Abstract
We study the rare decays , and in the R-parity violating supersymmetric standard model. From the latest upper limits of and , we have derived new upper bounds on the relevant R-parity violating couplings products, which are stronger than the existing ones. Using the constrained parameter space, we present the R-parity violating effects on the branching ratios and the forward-backward asymmetries of these decays. We find that and could be enhanced several orders by the R-parity violating sneutrino and squark exchanges, respectively. The R-parity violating effects on the dilepton invariant mass spectra of $B^+_u\to…
