Valeria L. Gili, Mauro Carfora, Claudio Dappiaggi

TL;DR
This paper develops a scalar boundary conformal field theory on triangulated surfaces, providing tools rooted in simplicial models to explore open/closed string dualities from a string theory perspective.
Contribution
It introduces a fully characterized scalar BCFT on triangulated Riemann surfaces, linking simplicial models to string dualities.
Findings
Constructed a scalar BCFT on triangulated surfaces.
Analyzed the model as a tool for open/closed string dualities.
Provides a framework connecting simplicial models with string theory concepts.
Abstract
In the framework of simplicial models, we construct and we fully characterize a scalar boundary conformal field theory on a triangulated Riemann surface. The results are analysed from a string theory perspective as tools to deal with open/closed string dualities.
