A Study of Excited Charm-Strange Baryons with Evidence for new Baryons \Xi_c(3055)^+ and \Xi_c(3123)^+
The BABAR Collaboration, B. Aubert, et al

TL;DR
This paper investigates excited charm-strange baryons produced in electron-positron collisions, confirming known states and providing evidence for two new baryons with precise measurements of their properties.
Contribution
It reports the first evidence for two new excited charm-strange baryons, $oldsymbol{ ext{Xi}_c(3055)^+}$ and $oldsymbol{ ext{Xi}_c(3123)^+}$, with detailed measurements of their masses, widths, and decay modes.
Findings
Confirmed existence of $ ext{Xi}_c(2980)^+$, $ ext{Xi}_c(3077)^+$, and $ ext{Xi}_c(3077)^0$.
Provided evidence for new states $ ext{Xi}_c(3055)^+$ and $ ext{Xi}_c(3123)^+$.
Measured masses, widths, and decay modes of these baryons.
Abstract
We present a study of excited charm-strange baryon states produced in annihilations at or near a center-of-mass energy of , in a data sample with an integrated luminosity of recorded with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II storage rings at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center. We study strong decays of charm-strange baryons to , , , , , and . This study confirms the existence of the states , , and , with a more accurate determination of the mass and width. We also present evidence for two new states, and , decaying through the intermediate…
