TL;DR
This paper investigates how the equation of state and viscosities influence the transverse dynamics and femtoscopic measurements in heavy ion collisions, highlighting viscosity's role in creating tsunami-like pulses.
Contribution
It demonstrates the impact of bulk and shear viscosities on collision dynamics and femtoscopic radii, linking viscosity effects to tsunami-like pulse formation.
Findings
Viscosities affect femtoscopic radii by 10-20%.
Viscosities influence transverse dynamics.
Viscosities contribute to tsunami-like pulse development.
Abstract
The equation of state and bulk and shear viscosities are shown to be able to affect the transverse dynamics of a central heavy ion collision. The net entropy, along with the femtoscopic radii are shown to be affected at the 10-20% level by both shear and bulk viscosity. The degree to which these effects help build a tsunami-like pulse is also discussed.
