TL;DR
This paper reports on recent measurements of leptonic B decays, focusing on B -> tau nu, using data from the BaBar detector to improve understanding of these rare processes.
Contribution
It provides new experimental results on leptonic B decays, especially B -> tau nu, based on analysis of two independent data samples from BaBar.
Findings
Evidence or limits on B -> tau nu decay obtained
Improved measurement precision over previous results
Enhanced understanding of leptonic B decay processes
Abstract
We present recent results on leptonic B decays using data collected by the BaBar detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy e+e- collider at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center. We report searches for the B -> tau nu decay, based on two statistically independent data samples.
