TL;DR
This paper proposes the existence of special strings confined inside walls in SU(n) N=1 Super Yang-Mills theory, supported by field theory and string theory evidence, and explores their implications in the low-energy effective action.
Contribution
It introduces the concept of strings inside walls in SU(n) N=1 Super Yang-Mills and provides theoretical and string-theoretic evidence for their existence.
Findings
Strings carry Z_{[k,n]} quantum number.
Evidence from MQCD and gauge-gravity correspondence.
Implications for low-energy effective action on k-walls.
Abstract
We conjecture the existence of strings bounded inside walls in SU Super Yang-Mills theory. These strings carry quantum number, where is the greatest common divisor between , the charge of the wall, and . We provide field-theoretical arguments and string-theoretical evidences, both from MQCD and from gauge-gravity correspondence. We interpret this result from the point of view of the low-energy effective action living on the -wall.
