TL;DR
This paper introduces a mutation sampling technique designed to generate validation data for structural testing, aiming to improve the efficiency of testing for stuck-at faults.
Contribution
It presents an original mutation sampling method specifically tailored for creating validation data for structural fault testing, with initial evaluation results.
Findings
Effective validation data generation for structural tests
Improved testing efficiency demonstrated in initial evaluation
Potential for application in automated testing workflows
Abstract
Our goal is to produce validation data that can be used as an efficient (pre) test set for structural stuck-at faults. In this paper, we detail an original test-oriented mutation sampling technique used for generating such data and we present a first evaluation on these validation data with regard to a structural test.
