Exploring the chiral regime with dynamical overlap fermions
Hideo Matsufuru (for the JLQCD, TWQCD Collaborations)

TL;DR
This paper reports on the progress of dynamical overlap fermion simulations by JLQCD and TWQCD, exploring the chiral regime with two and three flavors of sea quarks on a lattice, and presenting physics results for the two-flavor case.
Contribution
It provides new insights into the chiral regime using dynamical overlap fermions with detailed simulation status and physics results for two-flavor configurations.
Findings
Simulations successfully cover p- and epsilon-regimes.
Physics results obtained for Nf=2 lattice.
Progress in 2+1 flavor simulations initiated.
Abstract
I report the status of the dynamical overlap fermion project by the JLQCD and TWQCD collaborations. So far, the simulations have been completed with two flavors of overlap sea quarks in a wide range of sea quark mass corresponding the -regime and the -regime on a lattice at 0.12 fm. More recently, runs with 2+1 flavors of sea quarks have also started. This talk mainly discusses the physics results on the lattice after describing the lattice formulation and algorithms.
