A. Youssef, Z. Svindrych, J. Hadac, Z. Janu

TL;DR
This paper investigates the critical state response of Nb thin films using ac susceptibility measurements and harmonic analysis, demonstrating strong agreement with a hysteretic critical state model in 2D disks.
Contribution
It introduces a detailed analysis of ac susceptibility in Nb thin films and validates the hysteretic critical state model for 2D disks through experimental data.
Findings
Excellent agreement between experimental data and the critical state model.
Harmonic analysis effectively characterizes the nonlinear ac susceptibility.
Supports the applicability of the hysteretic critical state model in thin film superconductors.
Abstract
Harmonic analysis of the temperature dependence of the nonlinear ac susceptibility of Nb thin film gives excellent agreement with the susceptibility calculated on basis of model of the hysteretic critical state in 2D disk.
